We use most of the Inkjet disc printers and thermal disc printers ourselves in-house on a daily basis so we really do know what we're talking about. Our Graphic Design team can help and advise on setting up your artwork and achieving the maximum out of your disc printer.

A professional CD Printer whether it be an inkjet CD Printer or thermal CD printer, allows you to produce professionally printed CDs yourself in house. Inkjet CD printers give a high photo quality CD print which handles more subtle gradient images and skin-tones due to the mixing of inks directly on the disc surface. A glossy or matt finish will depend on the media used.

Thermal CD Printers are available as either full colour CD Printers or plain black CD printers and use heat and pressure to apply the print from a CMYK or Black only transfer ribbon directly on to the disc surface. Provides high quality vibrant images with a durable glossy finish. Full colour thermal CD printing is perfect for photographic images and vivid designs. It is not suited to very light tints and gradients. Black thermal CD printers produces a sharp hard-wearing finish for plain text and simple logos.

For a more durable finishes straight from the printer thermal CD / DVD printers are recommended. Although more expensive, thermal CD printers work in very different ways to an inkjet CD Printer.
