Duplication Q&As to guide you in the right direction
How many CD discs do you need?It may make sense to add a few extra just in case you need them later. Short run cd/dvd duplication can often be done same day. If it’s more than 1,000 they will take longer and you will need to use our Rom service
How much content is on your disc?A standard CD has capacity of 700mb of data or 80minutes of audio. If your content is greater then you may need to produce multiple sets of CD’s or use our DVD duplication service.
A standard DVD has capacity of 4.7GB of data or 120 minutes of video. If your content is greater than this you will need to consider multiple DVD discs, a higher capacity dual layer DVD format such as DVD-DL or our Blu-ray Duplication Service.
A standard Blu-ray disc (BD) has a capacity of 25GB of data or 120 minutes of HD video. If your content is greater than this you will need to consider multiple Blu-ray discs (BD) or a higher capacity format such as the 50GB dual layer Blu-ray disc (BD DL).
We always check your master disc using our disc analyser and take an extra master copy. It may be worth keeping a copy yourself in case you need to access the content whilst your discs are in production.
When will the artwork be ready?We can supply guidelines for you to work to or our graphics team create a design from your brief. Artwork will always be proofed to you for sign off before starting production. To save time why not send your artwork via our ftp site so that we can advise on the most suitable print process for your design.
Who are your discs intended for? You may want something bold and eye-catching, a corporate design or just something functional. We can produce a simple one colour text print through to complex, full colour designs.

When do you need the discs?We can produce up to 1000 discs (sometimes more) by short run cd/dvd duplication in 24 hours from receipt of master and artwork. Please call and talk your specific project through with one of our account managers and we will give you a lead time you can rely on.
Where do you need them delivering to?Our experienced fulfilment team can despatch your discs to multiple destinations worldwide. You may even want us hold onto some discs and send them out at a later date.
