Project: Optical Discs (CD and DVD)

Details: Our customer put the production and fulfilment of their premium software project out to tender. The project consisted of a bi-monthly release, 2,500 units of a 2 disc set, and two quarterly releases, 4,000 units and 9,000 units. Depending on the type of release the discs required packing into branded card wallets, digipacs or card mailers. Finally the project required the addition of a personalised covering letter and fulfilment to 2,000-5,000 addresses throughout the EU.

Solution: Bringing together our graphic design, duplication and logistics teams enabled the account manager to provide a competitively priced 'one-stop' solution which covered all aspects of the project. The initial print and disc production was completed in 7 days and the project was fulfilled within 2 days exceeding the expectations of the customer.
 

Project: Flash Memory Cards

Details: Our customer planned to roll-out new hardware to their field based engineers and they needed to deliver up to 16GB of data on a regular basis. The new hardware did not have an optical disc drive and although the engineers had access to the internet the size of the data made it unsuitable for download. The customer, their dedicated account manager and our technical specialists worked closely together to develop and implement the following solution.

Soution: The data was delivered on 16GB SDHC (Secure Digital High Capacity) flash memory cards. Each card was labelled with company branding and a sequential serial number and then packed in flexi-small SD cases. The initial release of 1,250 units was produced within 48 hours and supplied with the new hardware. The monthly releases of up to 500 units are packed into SD multimedia cases with printed parts and delivered to up to 200 recipients.
 

Project: USB Flash Drives

Details: Our customer required a high quality distribution method to promote and support their channel partner e-newsletter and their online sales and marketing materials.

Solution: Our customer, their dedicated account manager and our graphic design team worked closely together to develop and implement two distinct products:

- Premium quality 16GB USB flash drives, 375 units, for strategic alliance partners containing 9GB of marketing and sales information.
- High quality 2GB USB flash drives, 1,500 units, for channel partners containing 10MB of marketing materials with a link to downloadable content.

All of the USB flash drives were printed with corporate branding and packed into custom printed presentation tins.

The quality and re-use of the USB flash drives and associated packaging supplied by CD Team was critical to the marketing success of the project and, when the content was ready, the project was duplicated and dispatched within 2 days to ensure it was available for an associated marketing program.
